Patchy Backyard Lawn Replaced with Lush Artificial Turf

Here's what we were working with - a backyard lawn that had seen better days. Patchy, uneven grass with bare spots and dead debris scattered across the surface. The kind of yard that takes consistent watering, mowing, and feeding just to look mediocre. A lot of homeowners put up with this for years before making a move.

The existing natural grass was removed and replaced with high-quality artificial turf fitted to match the natural curves of the existing landscape edging. That curving border along the rock gravel bed is one of our favorite details on this one - the turf follows it cleanly, keeping the design intentional rather than boxy.

What we ended up with is a yard that looks sharp from every angle. The turf sits flush against the paver patio and follows the gentle S-curve of the edging along the boulder wall, tying the whole backyard together. The existing flowering shrubs and boulder retaining wall were preserved, so the finished space still has real character - it just looks put-together now.
